Erudite's Sisters Scr*pbook

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Some new additions to the gallery, this time courtesy of Erudite :notworthy:

Some time ago he very kindly sent me a cd full of scans, and being the slack b*stard that I am I never got around to doing anything with them...

Until now.

I've made a start uploading them to the gallery, and they're here: http://www.myheartland.co.uk/gallery/ca ... ?cat_id=11

:von: :notworthy: :notworthy:

More to follow. Lots more.

Thanks Erudite. :notworthy:

No problem.
Everybody is more than welcome.
They've spent an awful long time mouldering in a folder.
Having finally got round to buying a scanner, I thought it was high time
I did something useful with the detritus of my anally retentive youth.

That said, even back in the early 90's when :von: still walked on water,
I would never have paid £23 for a flyer.

Sisters' fans, you gotta love 'em - they're just so damned obsessive!

Sisters Scr*pbook - 89 images
that's biggy's and erudite's combined.
Sisters Imagebank 395 images
thats everyone else's pictures.

89+395 = 484

484 images of the sisters?!?!? f*ck me! :o

that has to be one of the biggest sisters photo & clipping archives on the web, surely... well done guys and gals :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

maybe someone should give it a plug on dominion? ;)

the direct url is http://www.myheartland.co.uk/gallery/

fyi: thumbnails (and biggy's gallery) available to the public, all other large versions only available to logged in users.

feel free to plug it to anyone who will listen ;)

The irony is that most of them are from the Melody Maker, which was always the most pro Sisters of the weekly "inkies".

Actually, they did a good job of keeping both Eldritch and the Sisters in the public consciousness for a couple of years while he was having one of his "hugely successful absences".

Unfortunately, that was then, this is now...
