Clothes dye

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Is the print intricate? Could try going over pattern with wax so the dye won't hold.

I have a Miss!on '86 (or '87) tour t-shirt and after a while the print seemed to wash out and was barely visible. Then it was accidentally washed with something that contained a lot of dye. My brothers white socks came out a dark colour, but the print on the t-shirt re-emerged and is now (if I remember rightly) a greenish colour.

If it did all go horribly wrong you could always stick a bit of string in the middle and turn it into a candle. :D
