Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Anyone fond of the ageing classic, One Night in Bangkok, performed by Murray Head?

The song is actually about a chess tournament and if my music knowledge is correct, was written by Abba (ie, Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus - aren't those guys commonly known as Abba?) for a Tim Rice musical.

If you're really lucky, I might post the entire lyric here. But that's only if you're, like, really lucky.
.... there is no semblance of rock 'n roll around here!

We who suffer and endure ask - why?

So did we all.

Wasn't the musical called "Chess" or something similar totally unrelated to chess...

Wasn't the Paige & Dickson classic 'I know him so well' from the same show?

Very Abba type video anyway, if it wasn't.

I think you could be right. Then again all of the Tim Rice / Andrew Lloyd Webber crap tends to blur together into one huge meta-musical. Jesus Cats Superstarlight Exprevita and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamchess.

A musical about chess? Almost as interesting as watching Geoffrey Boycott open for England.
