Orange text messages

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi all. Sometimes when I send a text message and ask for confirmation that it's been received, I get a text with an err code in it. For example ERR:061. I get these even when the text has been delivered ok. Does anyone know what these different err codes mean? I've searched the Orange web site and couldn't find anything.

Very strange!! I've been on orange for years and never come accross messages like that! Could it be the phone and not the network?

How do you request the message receipts - using the menu option or by typing RCT at the beginning of the message?

RCT. I've also had err044. I get these codes if the message isn't delivered straight away.

Have been in contact with Orange and there is mucho scratching of the la tet.
