@QB: With reference to your unlinkable DJ schedule. You know what my request list is. The same as it was for that night at the real University of Leeds when you first met Mr Fiend. (I've tried looking back through my posts to find it, but your search facility's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard and I've got the rest of my life to be getting on with ). If you don't play at least one of them, I'm gonna make a grand exit on Monday.
I've always wanted to be a Prima Donna.
Over to you SG. I'll set 'em up, you knock 'em in.
I'm off to listen to Come As You Are on repeat. It's not over til the fat lady sings ...

When you northerners decide to travel south of Watford you can have yourselves a decent beer. Try some Youngs or Fullers or If you're lucky some Abbot. Tetley's my arse. ( Have you heard Steven Well's Tetley Bitter Men poem ? Kinda sums it up )Thrash Harry wrote:I'm not a bitter man and as far as I'm concerned, lager is lager is lager. Unless it's Skol, in which case it's p!ss. Generally Tetley's Bitter. Boddingtons if you're lucky. Sam Smiths? Fosters, Castlemaine or Carling with the usual bottled offerings. As long as it gets you drunk enough to join in a bit of friendly slam-dancing, it doesn't really matter does it?Big Si wrote:What's the bevvy like in Leeds? I hope it's as good as I get in Glesga!

I am at home suffering Bruce Dicklesson because Al Jourgenson will be on at some point. I am recording it onto video tape, since the video is hooked up to the cable, if anyone can turn it into an audio track, please let me know,

Treeemendous. I really shouldn't go to these dos cos I'm gonna run out of people to insult if you all keep turning out to be such wondeful human beings. The Phono was never this much fun. I'm sure I saw people laughing, enjoying themselves and having a good time.
@PIB: I need your address so I can send you the chiropractor's bill.
@Sisxbeforedawn: Put her down fer chrissakes. I'm trying to talk to you.
@CellThree: See you tonight. You might even get some sense out of me.
@Big Si: Sorry I wimped out of the drinking challenge. Mrs T was a far more attractive proposition.
@Mr & Mrs Snowey: The only Heartlanders I've met so far who are more attractive than their avatars.
@Debaser: I used to be a dBaser, but now I'm a professional, I've progressed to Oracle. Aren't you glad I didn't get to talk to you!
I'm sure there were others.
@QB: Way too cool for school. Don't give it up!
@Paddy: Can't wait for tonight. Don't forget:
BODY ELECTRIC
I'm off for a lie down before JB arrives.
Upstaged by the Belgians.
I'm gonna have to have harsh words with my agent.

Well, well, well....
Where to begin?
I had a fantastic night but a bloody awful morning. I need some sleep really. Turning yer clock back and forth twice in two days and flying in four different airplanes in the same timespan is a nice challenge for someone who can barely survive the annual daylight saving time c.r.a.p.
To start with: you guys cannot drink. Really. And I know why Pads won't drink any beer. Because it's NOT beer. I don't know how you guys can feck up even a Stella Artois, but apparently you can. I did NOT have a splitting headache, but I DID have the runners and a queasy stomach. I blame the Tetley's. I really want to know what it's made of, coz I really want to clean the seats of my car and I believe Tetley's just fine for that. It seems to include sulphuric acid.
But we downed 15 pints each. Dedicated Fille/Vision
I still think it very weird that you guys start the fun at 8 PM and turn on the lights again at 1 AM, but it gave us some sleep, which was great. We needed that.
Before I give some personal comments, let's just say that you all are very distinguished people and totally live up to the average picture the outside world has of an Englishman. Including the fact that you people really can't drink.
@Quiff: you are a really fantastic guy. Very open, very enthousiastic and very generous. Vision remarked that the ONLY thing we paid for at the Armageddon thingy was the first two Stella. We didn't even pay the two quid entrance fee... Nce as it is.
Oh, and Vision wants his Lierse scarf back Just kiddin, it was OUR pleasure to remind you about the most embarrasing moment in football history
@Pads: you rock, rite on And thank you very mucho for the two GRINNUK-cd's I got. Hope you are as happy with the THE AVATAR cd I gave you. Doh...
@Thrash Harry: you really surprised me. You are NOT the sarcastic, egocentric bastard I presumed you were. You are a nice fella, and I though it very nice you were so awed by our presence. Know your master
@Ed Rhombus, PiB, Big Si, Doomie, the Snoweys and the others I talked with (including the nice bloke whose name I forgot, but he now knows everything about music software): RESPECT. You are all very fine people and stuff. I had some nice conversations.
@the rest: so good to have seen you all... it was a real pleasure.
I had a blast. I never regretted coming to Leeds. Pity it's soooo bloody expensive.
We made some crude agreements too, including:
- a Rhombus/Grinnuk/Smurphs/The Avatar tour in Leeds AND Antwerp.
- Quiffy coming over here to taste all 517 vegan Belgian beers.
- Pads coming over just to enjoy the Belgian hospitality backstage
Pictures will be online very soon. And DEBASER: I will send you your pics personally, so you can decide what you'll do with them We ARE tourists, you know. We are forced to take pictures. It's called company espionage.
And QUIFF again: I wanna see that autograph A4 thingy on the board here ASAP! Don't tell me you let it soak in one of your vegan beer pools you created at that table...
Cheerz.
See you next time
