New here, couple questions...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

First, I had heard something a while ago about Interpol looking for AE. Something about grievous and premeditated bodily harm.Anyone have any details on this? Whose body was grievously harmed?

Also, I'm having a debate with a friend who believes there are no "racy" pics of AE floating around (i.e., states of full or half undress, indecently tight clothing). Know of any pics like this?

Spaseeba :D
I would have done something, but I was overwhelmed by a lack of concern.

No. But I would like to know. :notworthy:

As for the first question, I don't think it was the interpol! As far as I'm told, it wasn't anything serious. People are just giving it too much importance. Lack of a new album to talk about.
But there are people here that can provide better information.

I figured as much. I assumed that if Interpol really wanted to find him it wouldn't be too difficult with all the headlining. :)

I know I read it in some international paper, but since I'm not too familiar with international print I'm not sure what is and isn't credible. :?

Update March 2000 GBH

It seems the German cops have finally dropped the charge of "vormeintliche grobe Körperverletzung" - premeditated grievous bodily harm.
Two years ago they offered to send Interpol looking for our lead singer. We didn't tell you at the time because we were cunningly disguised as the headline act at festivals in Germany and elsewhere. Mr Eldritch was never tracked down. Draw your own conclusions as you commiserate with our concert agent, who has just transferred a modest sum to the district attorney.
if you believe a word of it ;)

My source is a member, and has been toying with the idea of uploading it to the gallery.

As a result I am unable to share at this moment.

QB, I shall pm you on this.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

In case there's a german dictionary around somewhere near your computer:

Welcome back, BP. :D

Sure, go ahead and forward the picture for the gallery. I am not trying to keep it from anyone. Besides, I do not have the original magazine; someone else scanned it. There may even be a better (or at least complete) copy of the cover which can be posted as well (or instead).

For the record, to me it looks as though his leather pants have folds, but with imagination he may be sporting a boner.

Just drop me a PM if you need a copy. I may not be here much lately because of real life matters taking up more time at the moment, but one way or another we should be able to get it to the gallery.

not my cup of tea - bit shoe-gazey and a bit of a rip off of all those guitar bands from the 80s that used delay & reverb (ie: chameleons), but not as groovy as any of them...

bit wishy washy too if you ask me
