Guests Of Honour

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

And when you’re walking down the street wae your pitbull (slabbering chops at one end, baws swinging at the other), and your pure hackit burd (mair baws than the dug), both sporting your totally minging day-glo, his-n-her shell suits, everybody knows that you’re the top boy. Yay for everyone who turned up with an especial :notworthy: to our Belgian contingent.

Great to meet.. oh bollocks I can't remember who was there now. Let's see: QB and JensenClone who I had met before, Big Si, Ce||Three, Thrash, Paddy, Izzy and vision, who I met on Saturday;

There were loads of people there who I didn't speak to. Sorry!

And sorry to anyone I met and have forgotten to mention.

Oh and @RS: I can transfer VCR to audio :innocent:

Notes from a small island V.1.a

Nice to put names to faces, had a great time etc and so forth...

Pity a few were missing (despite "subtle" persuasion biggy still didn't buckle) and it would have been nice to meet Richey (rumours that he "bottled" it are of course completely untrue).

All hail the mighty Izzy and Vision, for making the most ludicrously unjustifiable cost/time/distance trip of all, even if sole purpose was to complain about such bizarre customs as going to bed at a reasonable time (should have stuck with us for the after party mate) and drinking p*ss poor beer (which still seemed to have the desired effect eh Iz)

All hail the mighty Mr Thrash, Mrs Thrash & friend for strutting the light fantasic with us saddo's who insisted on filling the dance floor pretty much from the off. (Extra all hail to the DJ's for providing such as irresistible selection of tunes, though the absence of "my heart will go on" was noted.)

All hail the mighty Doomie for managing not to give away one fact/snippet of information during my rather intense and somewhat enthusiastic interrogation. Did I tell you the Damned were playing a "private" gig at a mate's party soon? No? Well I have now

All hail the mighty JC, C3 and big Si for escorting me safely around Leeds. I have no idea how I got back to the hotel; last thing I remember was the amusing sight of C3 trying to arouse sleeping beauty in some sports bar somewhere? Git ta f*ck with a Scottish/Yorkshire hybrid amused no end.

All hail everyone else, except Debaser, for putting up with me and my cash card woes; she deserves her own special all hail for proving that geriatrics can indeed dance

Cheers guys :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

'Fraid so. You did a good cuddly Father Jack impression when you woke up and saw your beer in front of you. Then PiB took it away. You scowled.

Anyone know what happened close to my hotel Comfort Inn? I had to make way for an ambulance posted there.

I never thought 'making way for an ambulance' was that hard.

The medics prolly thought I was deciding whether to stagger on the left hand or the right hand side of the pavement...

I swear I saw one mutter 'ah, foreigners, they never get it rite'

@PiB: I really wantd to go to the afterparty m8, but decided against it. We started drinking stout in Amsterdam at about 11am GMT, y'know. I know us Belgians have a fame, but we only have one liver... Besides, I lost Vision, apparently. It turned out he was standing two feet away. Nuff said? ;D

@C3: Aha! Thought so! Could not remember you from your avatar, you see ;D

Don't tell them that. They might start fighting back and you know I can only give it and not take it.

@Izzy: Thank god you found each other. I really didn't like leaing Vision on his own outside the pub after te bar staff they finally managed to get me to leave at chucking out time. I always like to be the last one out. It's a principle of mine. :D

@Vision: Your English is outstanding. I think you were probably speaking it better than me at the end of the night. Sorry for boring you stuff with my questions about your country and its languages. Would you be surprised if I said I still can't figure it out?

@Everyone else: Thankyou for putting up with me. It has been noted that you were obviously trying to get away from me at the end.

Go to sleep now, Francis.
