top five Summer Songs

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say its all right

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes
each one she passes goes "a-a-ah!"

It's really true how nothing matters
No mad, mad world and no mad hatters
No one's pitching 'cause there ain't no batters
In Coconut Grove

She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky

Here comes the ocean
and the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
and the waves where have they been

I actually like both, but I'll run with the Creation one for the intro.

Aah, I'm going to see Lee Hazelwood next month in London, haven't really heard much apart from the Nancy and Lee album, does anyone have any of his solo stuff?

Favourite Chameleons summer song has to be 'Looking Inwardly' followed by 'The Fan and the Bellows'.
