Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Ah that was a brilliant gig!! I went to every date on that tour and reckon Norwich was definitely in the top three. I'd probably put it in my top 10 BSP gigs ever, although I have to admit I've said that about so many gigs it's probably a top 15 or 20 by now*... The sound was brilliant that night and one of the most enthusiastic crowds of the tour. I'd never been to the Waterfront before and really liked the venue. And I got to stay in the Alan Partridge famed Norwich Travelodge, which amused me no end. I also went up to Hunstanton in the afternoon to ponce about on my own on the beach where the sleeve picture of The Stranglers' Norfolk Coast album was taken, which made for one of the most enjoyable days of the year so far.


* in case anyone is wondering, 45. And no I do not consider that too excessive. I know about 10 people who have seen them more than that. You usually get an interesting gift on your 50th (previous ones have included a very large rainbow feather duster) which is something I'm quite looking forward to...
