Carl Marcus was born on a kitchen table in the South Bronx. He is now a multi-millionaire in Georgia, where he drives ultra-expensive cars and has traded up to his sixth wife.

Early in his career, Marcus's business mentor was a part-owner of the famous Las Vegas casino, Caesar's Palace. Nowadays, Marcus runs a second hand Rolex and estate jewellery business.

Word on the street is that he might be a prick.

His website http://capetowndiamond.com is certainly eccentric - and not only does he sell Rolexes there, his website also freely offers his advice on everything from successful selling to getting a divorce.
