Huey Lewis And The News :notworthy:

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Can't really be bothered reading through all your "were you ever a Huey Louis fan?" replies, but I notice that someone was trying to sell a drum machine on eBay for ages and said it had once belonged to a member of Huey Louis and the News.

I think it was an Oberheim DX, the budget version of the DMX as used by Eldritch and Co to record FALAA.

Personally, all I've ever really wondered about Huey Louis and the News is: what is 'Huey' an abbreviation of? Surely the name Hubert has no rock n' roll credibility?!?

"Huey" is the guys real name! - Check out "Malcom In The Middle" - the youngest and oddest son is called "Huey" ;-)

.... With all this talk of Huey, I think I'll go put on the Duets CD. I love Huey's Cruisin' single (with Gwyneth Paltrow - another great name) and Paul Giamatti's Hello, It's Me.
