And I've just cycled 10 miles along the cliffs for what seems like the first time in AGES
Is it nice elsewhere?
What a lovely day at last
Pretty nice in Stockholm. Not as warm as the last 2 weeks (29C), but sunny and nice.Brideoffrankenstein wrote:And I've just cycled 10 miles along the cliffs for what seems like the first time in AGES

I'm at my office though
I think someone set my soul alight
It's great down here. Soul warming sun and blue sky. And am seeing a friend tonight who I haven't seen for ages.Brideoffrankenstein wrote:And I've just cycled 10 miles along the cliffs for what seems like the first time in AGES

To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

We've had alot of rain and storms, which have been fun to watch but it meant no cycling anywhere (fair weather cyclist ya see).

Lovely sunny day in Glasgow.
Walked about 5 miles with a rucksack full of shopping, wearing a heavy jacket I put on because it was quite cool early this morning...
(<--- my face when I got home half an hour ago - from heat not embarrassment!).

Ditto, though these days cutting the grass is a pleasure not a chore. My dahlias have finally started to bloom and Pam's passion flower has about ten heads all open at once. They're amazingly intricate little things.Spiggy's hat wrote:The weather is too nice in East Yorkshire, I've finally had to cut the grass
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

pissing down here
i'd love to be able to take the dog out for a mother-of-all walks, but sadly it's a weekend and it's warm, so i can't even get out the front door without being trampled by "hikers" who use words like "bracing" and "marvellous" without a trace of irony. and don't understand why me and my samoyed look daggers at them when they ask if my dog is a huskey. and if it's not them, it's the traffic - took me forever to get to he other side of the road today - 5 days a week i can walk from my house to the next village straight down the middle of the road and not see a soul.
and as for the parents who take their kids to a field of sheep and tell them it's "just like a zoo" (i'm serious) well, they need to be hit with something heavy.
And don't get me started on the DIY-mad missing link next door...

Beautiful day on the Suffolk coast, spent with a dear friend. Ahh, bliss!
