Blade Runner at no 1. Not sure if the Star Wars films are classed as science fiction. George Lucas says not, just as AE says The Sisters aren't goth.

I wonder if it is because it's scientifically reliable or only a good movie. What made them vote, I mean?LONDON (Reuters) - "Blade Runner", a bleak vision of the future set in Los Angeles, has been voted best sci-film of all time by a group of international scientists, according to a poll published by the Guardian newspaper on Thursday.

What about Muppets from Space?
I can't believe it didn't make the top ten. thought-provoking, intelligent and perfectly acted.
