I do not have the IBAN/BIC code yet but have already asked Christans work mate Michael for details. I will PM the data to everyone who needs it as soon as I got this information.

Collecting the money and send it in one sum from the Heartlanders (and poison-door.de folks) does sound like a good idea anyway.

Regarding the social security laws in Germany: it's true that the laws are stricter now but 1) this does not mean cuts in all cases and 2) a cut of transfer payments from the social security depends on many factors. I would not overestimate this point. At least this point should not hinder us from giving some quick help. Sandra will need it.

However, I will ask Michael whether there is s.o. in Sandras family / among her friends who can provide legal / tax consultancy.

So the funeral is in an hour... :(

I'll be thinking of you Christian, and hoping for all the good to come for your family.

So today was the funeral. A dark coffin, decorated with flowers and a Sisters flag (!). There were 300-400 people around. Just amazing.

A sad day.

Rest in peace, Christian.

I would like to communicate that there is a fund for supporting Christians family, especially his daughters Charlotte and Amélie. Christians workmate Michael today gave me the bank account details for international money transfer. If anybody wants to donate just PM me.

Thanks for all that effort you put in it.

I will certainly donate, I will be back at you in a couple of days.

First I have to sort my s**t out, but I will feel much better when helping others.

I would consider myself lucky indeed if I had 300 friends come to see me off - no question about it, the man is well loved.

Done too, thank you Barry and Christian W for all your efforts in making payment simple for us.

I never met Christian but given the turn out at his funeral and messages on here he must have been a very special person.
