One of them people who gets paid enormous sum's of money just to play music to people who are far too lazy to go out and buy it and listen to it themselves

I haven't heard anything by him, does he make his own music?

Fair play to him, he's turned his hobby into full time employment. Mr Blast can still be this guy if he has the chance

 ;D

Agreed - though, from what I've read, he rarely used tall women in his films! Hmpf.

He certainly put more emphasis on horizontal extent than vertical...

Lest someone gets the wrong impression that we're discussing nasty pr0n here, I think Russ Meyer's films are partly masterpieces of cynical caricature and partly just goofy fun. The scene with the dentist/marriage counselor in Ultravixens is still one of my favourite movie scenes. If you haven't seen it, watch. Unless you don't like to see a boob or three that very occasionally pop in... :D

Thee Belgian Boy is back in his motherland.
but it feels as if he left his home behind, for that is how you people made him feel!

As I wrote earlier, the little meet we had on Saturday was very nice, it was great to put faces to names I know for so long now. You are all, one by one, top people!
I was but a visitor but I felt as one of the Mac-heartlanders :notworthy: I go emo when I think back to it

When my plane touched  down in Glasgow a whole new world opened up for me, never been that far away before, a world with his own traditions, people and a language one can barely understand, “weegie what is dat all about? :P
I fell in love with it all as soon as I lay my eyes on it, and even though my trip maybe didn’t went as smooth as one might hope (the luggage problem) and I saw some of the lesser parts of the place, it all didn’t make me feel less at home. :)

A big thanks to all of them weegies and one special thanks to boudicca’s parents for putting u with me all this time, they really are the most wonderful people you can imagine, they disserve a big applause from me and they are defiantly worth mentioning on here!
Oh and offcource a big kiss for Claire herself :)

See you soon Scotland

James, you've got him saying "fur" now!

It seems Christophe took to being Glaswegian like a duck (some kind of very large duck with no wings and no tailfeather  ) to water. Thanks in no small part, I think, to that great night after he arrived where he was made to feel so welcome by everyone who turned up :notworthy: .

He got to see the very best and worst that Scotland has to offer - the beautiful landscape and atmosphere of Glencoe and surrounding area to the joys of being shouted at by a number of wee nyaffs because of his cool hat  .

Some photos here

Bring on the sequel

He didn't end up sleeping against a lampost afterwards though! :innocent:

I have to say, Christophe was very good when it came to trying all the culinary delights of Scotland.

Irn Bru - check! (reaction: negative)
Pakora - check! (reaction: positive, "I could live on this")
Fish and chips - check! (reaction: Belgian seal of approval)
Curry - check! (reaction: positive (though we got him a chicken tikka masala and he only had a little taste of my Madras))
Tea with milk - check (a sip!) (reaction: negative)
(Vegetarian) haggis - check! (reaction: positive)
Tennents lager - check! (reaction: "tastes like pish!" - well he's not wrong is he?)

On the whole, well done! :P
