Zeno may get away with orange, but if he adds a wee pipe and a wee sash to the mixture...

So who's in the vicinity of Glasgow Intl at 3.40pm-ish on Friday?
Got some time to kill & would happily kill it with some company.

And what are the general plans for Friday/Saturday before the party takes off?
(I won't arrive in Glasgow until about 9PM it seems, so no Friday afternoon for me! But then most involved already knew that
)

I'm arriving in the city about 13:00 ish on Saturday (and I believe we're sharing the hospitality of a certain bearded gentleman
) so I'm definitely up for some pre-meeting meeting arrangements (so long as food is involved at some point
)

I'm aiming to arrive 1300 to 1400 on Saturday.
Anyone stuck for a lift from anywhere in the north of England let me know. I could do with someone sharing petrol costs.

Interesting! Actually I might like to head that direction myself for some photography. Unless people convince me otherwise
(or suggest more sociable activities for that matter)

I reckon it'll be at least 4.30 by the time you get from the airport to the city centre. I can be there by 5.15, maybe earlier if I can skive off 15 minutes early. It's probably best if you head towards George Square, which is quite near Buchanan St coach station and has a lot of OK pubs nearby. Or you can just sit on a park bench and have a gander at the City Chambers (a rather nice building which apparently featured in Dr Zhivago).
You have a choice of 3 buses from the airport. The 500 (quickest and most expensive), the 905 (a bit slower) and the 747 (slowest - it stops at Ikea and a large suburban shopping centre on the way).
