Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
Well, I'm satisfied - both Gollum and Laz gave reasons for why they don't like TP's stuff, and that's what would irk me the most. If you dislike something without good reason, you're clearly not thinking it through and shouldn't shoot your mouth off.
They have good reason, and that squares it with me.
Just to make it clear: i didn't read a single one of Pratchett's book.

Hard to disagree but most of people and even everyone can say that they don't like something music.writing/and etc. because of reasons mentioned by Lazarus and G's Cock. But obviously if you can only answer to question why you don't like this or that music/art stuff like: 'because i don't' the you act like a 6 yrs old child and there's no point of talking with that person.

Good to know Trad Goth is still alive and living in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.
I agree with everyone's right (however misguided) to dislike Pratchett but none of the specific criticisms levelled here seem to bear any relation to his books. Perhaps the early ones were by a writer still perfecting his craft but he's always tackled big issues and displayed a depth of characterisation and narrative that are frequently compared to Dickens.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.
I've never actually read Pratchett. There's always been something I can't quite put my finger on that I've found off-putting, despite the fact that the basic premise would appeal to me. Oh well.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I think his slippers have tiny bats on, if that helps.

Merry Xmas.
What sort of punctuation is that?
Write five hundred times:

The British education system might be failing but that's no reason to let standards on Heartland fall!

If that's not in the spirit of christmas then I don't know what is..
Merry Christmas.
Now if MrsRicheyJames would just apologise everything will get back to noirmal (nice gothic type error - I'll keep it).
