Very happy to read that you had a lof of fun, the tour starts wells, and I am sure tonight you will some other nice surprises, enjoy for those like me who are not in Leeds
Funny though that they played "More", I remember AE said that it was an unappropriate song without female backing voclas, maybe he changed his mind because he thinks that Ben has a female pitched voice, I would agree with him

Heartlanders are entirely excellent in person.
As for the gig: great set, very tight performances, nice round of "Happy Birthday To You", but the thing that amazed me was the shoulder surfing. I'm sure I saw someone surfing another surfer's shoulders at some point...
And it's nice when they slow a song down rather than speed it up occasionally. Just sayin'.

They're quality, love the photo-booth style four-pane ones!
I'm torn between drinking six cups of tea, or sleeping for an hour. Then I'll come to the pub.

Lovely to meet a few of you guys briefly last night. Sadly don't think I will be able to make it along this evening so enjoy yourselves.

Yes, someone did something to one of the cupcake girls which caused him to be removed from the building. I didn't see exactly what happened.
A certain person was booted out for chucking a cupcake at one of the girls when she would not give him a trayful of cakes to lobb at Andy during the set. The foolish will not be named to protect the idiotic.

...at the 'farewell' gig at the Albert Hall ('86 ?'), I swear there was a human pyramid about 5 people high, so maybe 20 people at the base...
...anyway, just leaving Coventry now for tonight's show.

Had a chuckle to myself when they played more.
I remember at the poly gig on 17.2.91, in the encore break people were shouting more - as you do, and someone else replied, "yeah, but anything apart from "more!"
Was there really no new merch at the XXX show, or was that just a dream??????
Good to meet you ribbons69, see you tonight, maybe.
