I'm more interested in the fact that after a six hour train journey the hotel is actually at the railway station!

Sounds good to me.However, having looked at GoogleEarth it doesn't seem that far to the venue anyway, although doubtless it will take longer to walk back than to walk there
Oh,and I hope you will forgive us for not joining you for breakfast if you are leaving that early!

It's about a 10/15 min walk (missus only has short legs). Slightly uphill.
Wandered around last time we played at the ABC2.

We're not gonna get in til gone 6pm anyway.
You'll all be half pished by the time we get there ;)

I'll make sure they save you a sausage !

Start one! Hoping for those elusive days tickets, or as Scardy pointed out to me, try a last minute ebay thing. Still not too sure on getting to and from Glasgow at the mo.

Matt..

I'll be travelling from Glasgow to Welwyn Garden City (via Edinbourgh and Peterborough) on a train which leaves Glasgow at 8.45 AM on 8th July. That's all I know - the train ticket was booked by AndrewS :notworthy: and he knows all the details (we will be travelling together). He's not much on the Internet these days (crashed computer), but I can PM you his telephone number (if you don't have it), so he can tell you the details.
And yes I bought the 3 day ticket for Sonisphere and I plan to camp and go all rock'n'roll. 8)
