Just back home, nice and energetic gig. Von and the girls were in good mood and the piano version of This Corrosion was quite a surprise.
Greetings to all Heartlanders I've met

In theory I reckon it's a cracking concept, but it'll be interesting to hear the view on the reality from the assembled punters.
Cheers for the link and info
PIB, just listened to the tune on there, she's got a voice like Celiiiiine Dion.

I recall her version came up before in Sisters chat; definitely curious to see it happen for real though.

I think, this version of This Corrosion was a one-off. However, ToL with female backing vocals (ie. the '92 version) is also rarely played these days and I was glad to be there

Lisa Cuthbert indeed was amazing. Temple of Love, This Corrosion have been a charm.

Fabulous news, and very ironic considering a recent conversation I had with Si ... Very happy to hear about this and wish I was there! Any videos or recordings surface yet?

That was just wonderful ...
... This Corrosion sung this way ... yes. And Temple Of Love ... very, very nice ... like a dream ...
That gives me hope, Andrew, that one day you will sing again like - you, just you ... definitely you.
Greetings to Chris as well ...
...
A hell of a crowd it was, I feel every single bone ...
...
And a wonderful Aftershow Party too ... thanks Christian ... Blue Shell has always been a nice place ...
...
Too tired now to write more but greetings to everyone I've met from Poison Door and Heartland and otherwise ... it's always such a pleasure to meet up at gigs ...
...
* falling down backwards now to sleep very, very nicely ...

This was a fascinating gig starting pretty average. Then suddenly a female backing vocalist entered the stage @arms and dominion but she couldn't really contribute to these songs since her mic was very low in the mix. But her solo/acoustic version of TC was stunning and it didn't took much time to realize that I've heard this before @soundcloud. It would have been nice if the band gave her some credits/announcing but well... at least they applauded.
And a wonderful Aftershow Party too ... thanks Christian
seconded
@Indrek: Did you find the way/took a cab to the after show party?

They didn't play Never Land. It fell off the setlist.

Lovely festival
The gig kicked off great with Kiss the carpet and everything seemed to go as it should from the get go. Good sound, good voice, good beers.
I had partied the night before a little hard and slept a bit too little and it took me quite a while to get fired up enough to move to the pit. Finally there, ready to groove, a keyboard was placed on stage
Then that lady singing TC. I thought it was a bit misplaced to be honest. It felt to me as an intermezzo with all the band leaving and then a 7 minute version of TC... Her backings on Dominion (closed my eyes and it was like Patricia was there) and Temple were really nice though and added something to the songs.
Hi also to everybody there, it was a real pleasure to catch up with y'all!
Very glad I found some tickets on Ebay last week!
DAF was also big fun

Yep, that's exactly the copy and paste from what she told me.
In fact, "Temple Of Love" was a stunner. And still, this band manages to surprise us all when we least expect it.
There are several clips from Amphi available on YouTube, from what I see.
