Currently Listening To: Experimental Noises

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

My first serious KC purchase (I bought "Court" for its Mellotron overload and "Lizard" for Jon (out of Yes) Anderson's contribution). It's a love affair that endures to this day. I have far too many versions of their zenith "Larks' Tongues in Aspic", but only two are epic, however SaBB forever has an house in my heart. The remaster + DVD has extended this love affair. They were a demon band in this incarnation.

I mean, look at the cover, you are intrigued, yeah?

King Crimson are one of those bands that you might not "get" straight away but are worth persevering with.

My old Sony DVD player emerged from the detritus that is my room. Pish DVD player but it plays CDs with a bit more Oomph!and clarity than my iMac, so it's gotta be...

Oh yes! Suits the mood perfectly. I'm sitting here in my smoking jacket with the lights dimmed...

I've listened a couple of times to the new Mazzy Star album the last weeks and that's not bad either
