I believe so too. It seems, reading into the tweet we shouldn't read anything into, that they are at least planning to do some kind of world tour this year. This may or may not be the final result...
maybe that's the thing. They're still awaiting confirmation of their residency on one of the Baltic/Mediterranean cruise ships

A38 Ship again perhaps ... ... if it were for a Sisters cruise like the Motörboat for example ...

I chenge my mind, if it's not Dead Sea, than I think that promoters will check how they perfom on Lake Ladoga (Mother Russia three times at one gig) or Aral Sea (a nice metaphore of TSOM).

The Sisters on Twitter just wrote:Our 2016 European tour starts A WEEK TODAY at Köln Palladium. A handful of tickets left for these gigs.

The promised Sisters dates for later in the year should be announced shortly after this jaunt finishes.

Good to see that Chris is taking the tour rehearsal seriously

Talking of rehearsals.... I hope we get 1959 back in the set. I think though that it should moved to the main set, mainly because the mood of the intro is lost with people talking and moving after the encore break.

Talking of moving songs...please can we see Summer moved from its anchored position after Dominion. Yes I am beginning to think the the two tracks have become conjoined on the computer! I love Summer and I always thought it would make a great opening song, but anywhere will do...except after Dominion.

And another thing..

I'm probably reading far too much into this, but I just noticed that Ben posted a photo of the guitars he's taking on tour for the German/Belgian/Austrian/Swiss dates, and one of them is a bass (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... 9019892051).

I'm wondering if Romeo Down is getting an airing again?

That would be swell to see RD and Colours again on setlist.

Well, I called that one right if reports of Romeo Down getting played at the Frankfurt gig are correct.

There is one song that I want to see them play next time in London or Nottingham would be mighty fine fine fine and that is of course YCBTO. A mighty fine slab of rock and roll.

Just read it this morning on the metro, (Destak it's a free newspaper that you can find at pretty much every train station or so) and was a huge surprise.

Anyway, the promoters (Top Link Music) haven't confirmed anything, and every other website that noticed that, use Destak as the only source, so for now, for the sake of my mental health, i'll treat it as a rumor

I think a number of concerts both in Europe and South America for later in the year have probably been settled since long ago (see Chris blog entry a few weeks ago), but as he wrote "USA (TBC)" there, I think we can guess why there weren't any announcements "very soon", as was written on tsomofficial first.

The last promise was an announcement after this tour leg, so let's see. But it is very likely that US negotiations are tricky as usual (they have intended going there several times since 2008 as far as I remember) and therefore withholding the announcement as such.

Don't the 2 Spanish dates, the Portuguese festival, and the 2 Brazil dates meet this promise?

Not really no. That wasn't my point. We know about these gigs simply because of this forum. I'm talking official updates here. Or rather the lack of it. I struggle to see both "very soon" (16-02-17) and "shortly" (16-03-01).

I guess it's just matter of perspective: when you're heading to your 60, when you're doing somthing over 35 years, few months IT IS very soon and shortly. Or maybe plans are still just plans and nothing came up from it.
