Exclusive sneak peak of a video for Teenage Prayer (only be available as a limited edition 7” single with the initial 250 copies of the vinyl album).
I say "exclusive" because that nice Mr. Marx sent us the link and told all the other outlets to hold off for a couple of days so we could all see it first
Truly a nice man.

Aw that's wicked. Seems a long time ago now that i was bothering him with my continued correspondance (which in fairness i kept up because he was so nice and kept replying) but he really does appreciate us Sisters fans. Proper gent.

Very kind, indeed ... ... thank you very much ... ...
That looks crazy. A bit like crazy in the 70s, but of course beyond. Curious to see the whole thing when it's released ... ...

It's arrived.
And I received a notice from sender Gary Marks, with the adress handwritten on the sleeve. What a nice little story...

Patchy recording of Gary playing SKOS at the end of the gig on Friday
Apparently he's waiting for a better quality recording to be finished up, but in the meantime he wanted to share that with us

Thoroughly enjoyed, looking forward to the more official version. That guitar tone, so damn iconic and glad to hear he's still capturing it so well.

Nice to see Phantom getting it's time in the limelight. Honestly this is a better rendition than the official release.
Looking forward to the sudden surge of cover versions from the enthusiastic fanbase.

Is that some interesting alternate verses there on SKOS? I'm going to have to have a closer listen...

Well kinda, it's mostly China Girl by Bowie lol
Yeah, but at the end at least there is also something else. Sounds familiar but what is it exactly ? ... ...
Both Ends Burning from Roxy Music if I had to bet.
This song near the end has the same melodic movement that China Girl and SKOS too.

yep, china girl (by bowie and iggy) and both ends burning (roxy music, covered by ghost dance)
he actually says "both ends burning" at 5.18 secs (ish)

What a thoroughly superb evening that must have been.
I loved the songs and got goosebumps when I heard the old songs played by the master himself. And I can only agree, what a lovely man he is.
Thank you so much for putting the vids up and a big thank you to Gary Marx for caring about us old bunch as he does. He really is something special.

it was pretty amazing
he came across as a genuine, self-deprecating and reflective guy, who didn't take himself too seriously (at all).
