Hi james

away from the boring old TC demo which i may have heard/owned/lost (strike as applicable) i have some questions if you're up for opening up a discourse with the fans (a novelty around here   )

having persuaded richard.s to hop on the boat to catch up with you again, why did you pull the plug on whitby are the gang war gone forever :?:

i love the new download, i hear there's a longer 'full' version too, but what's the idea, do you perceive it as commercially viable, the nearest i can think of is macbeth by laibach. can't imagine touring it but it's great for the right atmosphere :notworthy: :notworthy:

why did you decide to upload the back catalogue? once again thanks so much :D :notworthy:

would you ever consider releasing a live album, i guess, at the very least, you have the entire southern white knight set available :?:

why coo ca choo as a cover, is there some deeper meaning

when you come around to my house to play the gig, do i have to stock the fridge with newcastle brown ;D

thanks in adavance (hoping) :innocent: :notworthy: :notworthy:

A scan - it's a f**king flexi disc - no cover.
I have been informed that Underdog was recorded at Leeds Uni whilst supporting Ghost Dance. The track was recorded from the desk and was engineered by Pete Turner - the Sisters sound man - so the quality is good (but this is a flexi). It was given away at Gangwar gigs

any idea what year the ray gig was?

the open your arms GD site lists a few leeds uni dates.

the most likely look to be:

14.11.88 Leeds University
12.10.89 Leeds University

:D

Don't know who richard s. is, but the reason I 'pulled the plug on whitby' was because I sacked the band 4 days prior to the gig.
The new dowload - I presume you mean 4080peru - is what it is. Commercial gain is not an issue. I don't want your money I want your soul.
The back catalogue was uploaded for the same reason and I don't want anyone else selling them. I make music for myself and people to hear so it's no use if it's not available.
I have a few live recordings suitable for release but I'd rather upload a live video than audio.
Coo Ca Choo was a track from my childhood that never left me. It has a dark sexuality to it that I like.
I don't drink Brown Ale, I drink South African red wine - gallons of it.
Where do you live?

Ah, Mr Ray, you have returned. Does my offer attract you?

All of them.

I'm still contemplating it. You can do what you want with the flexi discs. Your info regarding them is correct to a degree that I need to investigate your identity before i do any deals with you.
Does the Johnny Goodbye have any of Eldritch's production notes?

Seems like a reasonable deal to me.
In fact what else could you throw into the deal?

Jesus Christ it's the real Mr Ray?

If so, no amount of :notworthy:s could come close. But I'll restrain my fanboyism, suffice to say Rev Rev Lowrider, Dust Boat et al give me shivers.

Well, the request for a scan merely was to see if it has a label or not.
If it was given away free, it may be available elsewhere. However, others may not be willing to part with it, so I guess you can name your price (be reasonable, though )

*shrugs* You never know, some people gain some odd pleasure out of signing up to forums pretending to be someone they're not. Like me signing up and claiming I'm Ben Gunn.

The other Mr Ray of note would be the one sung about by Suicide. :P

Were these limited to a small amount? In fact, how much are official flexis generally worth? I only really know about bootleg Russian ones.

Are they the sort one would pay £1, £5 or £15 for?
