there's nowt poncey about king's of the wild frontier. AATA were the first proper band i got into (i was about 9/10) -nothing wrong with the first couple of albums.
Same age and same taste in music,
AATA were one of the first bands
I got into also, right up to the
Prince Charming period, they were a dam fine band.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club-Whatever Happened To My Rock 'N' Roll (Punk Song)
I've always been a sucker for 1-2-3-4. None of that poncy 1-2-a-1-2-3-4 from this band, what's that all about ?
Also anything that starts with Click-click-click-click by AC/DC from the Back in Black album.

"Another Girl Another Planet" - The Only Ones
Edit: The first album version. Not the Peel Sessions version where John MacKay doesn't quite pull it off but it's still mighty fine.
My apologises ... I obviously meant John Perry because of 'specialist guitars' on VT credits but this
was his day job before that.
John MacKay was obviously the orignal Siouxsie geetar man with Kenny Morris on drums before they imploded in ... Aberdeen!
And a slightly thinner 'Fat Bob' and Budgie came to their rescue.
Just ran upstairs and checked the autographed Feb 79 poster. And *sighed *

all the suggestions so far are good, if not great but they are
opening passages, codas if you will, of songs therefor not
intros
Damn I'm in pedantic mode!

Should I be proud to have comfortably passed GCSE music and still not be entirely certain as to the difference? Does it have to be a unique passage?

argue on, please I just think a (sic) intro and a tunes opening are somewhat different
this tune fulfils both categories, IMO

I think
Gemini by
my lot has a good intro. Just my opinion.
One of the few songs I've made that I listen to. Cause I don't have to listen to my voice on it.

Reptile is more immediately impressive, imho, Gemini is stronger further in.
Not sure about the vocals though. The guy on Shadows seems a better singer, a mon avis

Mr Blast, just out of curiosity, have you ever heard any Tierkreis songs? I can't tell who has here and who hasn't.
