aha, finally something new :D Not a moment too soon either...

And by now I have a gazillion of candles burning away... one to get Robochrist as support, one to get JRG as an aftershow, one for the new song, one for that other new song, one for burn... ;D

I can't wait til thursday!

New song was very jolly, crowd were on good form and the sound was actually loud enough to leave my ears ringing which was very welcome. Probably the best of the UK dates I've seen.

Well, after the Astoria, and airing some gripes about set list, smoke, volume etc. I took on board some of the comments made about the poor venue, (& some about looking at what the set list is likely to be before you get there  ) and decided that actually being on the balcony at the Astoria was the real problem. I go to sisters gigs to jump around with like minded nutters and try and lose several pounds of sweat, not stand around watching from a distance.

So down the front I went, and I have to say that I found most things to be as good as I remember from previous gigs. I could see the band, the volume was okay (Let’s face it you can always do with more db’s) the crowd were awesome, everyone really getting into the music. Von’s voice seemed fine to me, and the Ben & Chris really rocked. :notworthy:

From what I remember it was same set list from the Astoria, I don’t recall a brand new song, but after Alice I had to have a breather and left the moshers for half an hour or so to cool down (I should learn that it’s best to remove leather jacket before exerting yourself in the pit), and they could have slipped something in!!!

I left at 11.00 with a smile on my face, that lasted until I fell asleep at 2.30. My girlfriend, (not a sisters fan, but I’m working on it) had a great time as well. And that’s how it should be.

So I’ve finally made it double figures in the number of times I’ve seen them, and I’m gutted that I can’t make it to Bristol on Wednesday, but hey, there’s always the next tour.
:D

thought it was a great gig last night. The "goth disco" downstairs after the gig was amusing to say the least.

I think Lee (eastmidswhizzkid) grabbed the setlist.

When I went to the bog I saw 4 people storming out moaning that they could recognise any of them  I had a great night, vocals where a bit too quiet in the mix but that's the sound engineers fault.

Lee only blagged Simon's que sheet for the Doktor...and had the balls to ask him to sign it :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

set lists were also blagged by the ront row contingent so i would guess that scans of the above will be forth coming to a pooter near you

The Nottingham gig was the best of the three i had the pleasure of attending...best crowd...best sound...yadda...but most of all...best company...

cheers you guys :notworthy: :notworthy: you fuckin rock!
