Woo-hoo! OMG, I'm trying to not get giddy. Yeah, I know, that sounds horrible, but things in my life seem to get a monkey-wrench tossed into them all the time. Suffice it to say that I truly appreciate the offer, and if things go my way (for once), I just may take you up on it, Raf!
It'd be lovely seeing you again, too, dear Androoooo!

If you're coming, make sure to bring the doll. It's kind of like Claire's Hat : you shouldn't be without it or something's amiss...

Sounds a good plan Raf
Is anyone here driving back to Brussels/Antwerp/Leuven after the festival and willing to split the costs with (and has room for) another 2 passengers?

Actually, I think that can be arranged. I'll have my ear to the ground and I'll let you know asap...

I see things are coming together big-time! If someone still needs a place to stay I have some space left at my place.
MadameButterfly, I make sure I have some room for you.

Seems like ears needn't be put to the ground after all, Andrew. Christophe once again is his hospitable self...

Offer of accommodation much appreciated
, although may not be needed, as we're thinking of finding a nice hotel for an, er, romantic break
Where we stay depends on what, if anything's planned for the Friday, and how we can get there after the festival (preferably by getting a lift back to hotel, or even to Brussels if the trains are still running). Antwerp appeals, as I didn't get much chance to see anything other than pubs there the last time, and the hotels seem to be cheaper than in Brussels.

I'll bear that in mind. Wasn't so keen on The Charlatan though, alghough I was a bit too pissed to judge properly. Maybe Raf's local will be open that weekend though

As last week's visiting HL crew can attest (and, by the way, thanks again for being there y'all!
) : it's open on Friday and fun can be had as well as some banging choons (although the 'Black Night' party last week was an exception, such music is still part and parcel of normal play lists) and it's largely the same on Saturday. It's closed on Sunday, though. Oh and Andrew, Billy will pop in as well then, probably
. By the way : Koen, my colleague and good friend Vibeke wants to 'thank' you for singing that Couseau song and wants you to tell her 'wat er dan echt vanbinnen zit'.
Yup, fun can and will be had when 33 is the preferred bar of choice. And by simple request I can ask Cris, our keyboard player to bring his entertainment keyboard so we can evoke some Piano bar memories...

...sometimes I'm some kind of a sing'n'dance-man
I'm glad somebody appreciates the fine arts... and do tell
Vibeke that I only sing for cool cats

Well, I'm still to decide between them, so feel free to fight it out - it may help me to choose

euhm... well... I'm not from the Limburg, I'm ne
kempenzeun that currently resides inna Antverpia. But, we're on the lookout to find a new home somewhere around Hasselt... I like that slower pace of the Limburgians...
But it seems most people think we're crazy going that way... Let me just quote the great J.L. Pierce: "
I go down the river of sadness, I go down the river of pain"
It must be the Goth within looking for trouble
