Heartland meet up - Manchester - October 2008

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hotel booked! :D

Days Inn on Sackville Street itself, £60 for a single room (no bad considering the scurrilous prices of the main batch of hotels in the city), only got no smoking rooms available but I figure I just gotta vary my diet. ;D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

One review said it was "gay friendly"... should be in for an interesting night

Well the tradition for Manchester clubbing back in the day was always to meet up in the Salisbury.

I'm not familiar with the Manchester area but if people fancy a drink and some food beforehand then anywhere would be fine with me :D

Still unconfirmed, it'll be a last minute thing if I do. But as I said earlier in the thread the affordable'ish direct flights from Antwerp do make it very tempting  (although prices seem to be going up :|)

Ok, we seem to have a roll call coming together, but there are a few folks who've gone MIA so far as confirmations are concerned.

Tim?
Claire?
BoF and HoBoF?
Purp?
The Snoweys?
Maisey?
Anyone else?
