I just bought a box of black CDRs.
They have a black surface & are as goff as fcuk.

I got some white, inkjet printable ones, and printed them solid black.

Does that count?

Actually, I seem to remember the black ones are black on both sides, so I'm afraid I can't match your gothness here. Plus, I've now run out of black ink. Do you think purple would do? ;D

I bought a load of those about a year ago - made by "Traxdata" IIRC - lovely shiny BLACK. When you have burned something on them you will see a lovely dark purple surface appear - which is also lovely

If they are anything like the ones i was using - Yes - the burned surface will appear a very dark and shiny purple. They may look like a Playstation CD but they dont burn "black"

I wish I could find them again in fact as I never had a burn failure using them
