Watching it now. Though not sure what I am watching. Whatever it is, the smoke machines are on full.
Not very crowded though.

Me too. I'm getting some strange satisfaction by refreshing the image every 2 seconds though...
Edit: It's just finished. Now watching the crowd and the smoke disperse. Stunning place for a gig!

knowing that there are others on this planet who stared for more than an hour at footage of a half empty square and a stage which (to the untrained eye) appears to be on fire is such a warm, fuzzy feeling
i played the leamington spa audio in the background for an added ooomph

no, they're all on the tour bus with the band, having a cuppa and chocolate digestives and trying to figure out why on earth so few people showed up (that's what it looked like, anyway).

from poison door forum:
Hab mir schreiben lassen, dass es keine besonderen Vorkommnisse gab. Kein Far Parade, dafür aber Giving Ground, Will I Dream und This Corrosion ohne erste Strophe. Ansonsten bemühter AE und lahmes Publikum
google translation:
Let me write that there was nothing to report. No Far parade, but Giving Ground, Will I Dream and This Corrosion without first stanza. Otherwise tried AE and lame audience.
SO I THINK IT WASN´T A GOOD NIGHT

Hey Loulou, you're not alone, I did exactly the same
and by the way I had a cat called Loulou so hello
But before the gig ended, I thought sziamiau was right, so I went to have a beer with friends... or 2 ... or 3 ...
"Bemühter AE und lahmes Publikum" sounds just fine enough to me - I'm sure they did great. I mean Transylvania
IS an exotic place to venture

I've no reason to doubt Poison Door, but it would be amazing if this one was so much different from the others. Steve? Anyone?

Eggi wrote me that this was the worst 2010 gig:
- they didn't played Rain From heaven, No Time To Cry, Logic
- low sound volume
- band seemed not to be in a good shape: many bad notes(or cues - he didn't specify) on the guitar and vocal mistakes

Even less reason to doubt Eggi. That sounds
awful. Von, why, why?
Steve? Confirm? C'mon mate?

I don't want to believe in a "Friday 13th" factor

An off-night, OK, everyone's allowed those. No complaints there. Deliberately leaving out songs, changing the setlist to something completely different (especially for their first time in a new country). Say it ain't so.

Yeah of course we can't allow that this "off-night" overshadow a run of three top class performances in a row. Fortunately most of the attending heartlanders/pd-people went to at least one of the other 2010 gigs as well.
