Just enough snow here ( Chicago ) to make everything look like Christmas.

I've finally got my car out, despite it being -9℃ this morning and our street being very icy. (I slid rather than rolled downhill, which was an adrenaline rush to say the least.) So I'm in the office. Not sure how getting home will go...

I wish I could work from home, I can't quite imagine the state of the kitchen though!!

While working from home has its benefits (not least having the TV on in the background) I'm quite glad of a bit of human contact during the day! Plus the proper screen real-estate (twin 1280x1024 monitors* as opposed to a single 1366x768 at home) gives me real room to breathe.

* hopefully soon to be upgraded to twin 1680x1050s

I agree on the human interaction but at work I have to try and make a pishy HP piece of crap with a 21" standard res monitor do my bidding, whereas at hame I have a big fuck off! 27" iMac hi-res doobry* ;D

<--- Full of WIN! :D

* that's 2560 x 1440

Fell on my arse on the way in this morn. Nothing damaged, but sitting down is quite an experience and it's gonna be stiff as a board as the day goes on. :evil:

My sympathy man. Falling on my arse a few weeks back hurt -- and as I recall I have a bit more padding in that area than yerself :oops:
