Good but not excellent is a good description. Most of all, it was hot as hell, and after the main set there was almost no energy left in the crowd.
After the gig, having squeezed my soaked shirt, bought a new one, had a shower, some fast food and only one beer, I feel totally knocked out
But the city is nicer than I remember, will come back

Camy I saw you go down but it was nice of people to let you into the front row.
What would have changed it from good to excellent for you?

i remember you
you were on the left side of me with your friend, i lost you after you enter the venue.
Camy you had the best position in this gig, no worries
Also the Loot was taken after a deny i received to take a photo from another setlist that was taken.
Sometimes you gain more when you have a bad time than normal

Wifi on the ferry.
:
The gig was great, as great as they are these days
. It would've been perfect but for me the experience was slightly disturbed by 2 things:
1. It was far too hot in the venue, so there was not enough fresh air with oxygen to breathe, so at some point I was sure I was going to faint, but Flood II was so good like a shot of new energy so I survived.
2. The woman (drunken bimbo
) who managed to squeeze to the front row beside me about halfway through the gig. I'd thought she just wanted to see the stage, and I'm a good soul so I kindly moved to make room for her- only to find out that what she wanted was not to see the band, but to be seen by the band.
Instead of showing some respect for letting her in, she was pushing me to the side, screaming like a parrot and- worst of all- constantly waving her hands in front of my eyes, polluting my view.
It made me so upset that finally I did the same- I put my hand in front of her eyes to show her what it feels like- to which she was astonished, said 'sorry I'm just excited', stopped for a few minutes and started doing the same again.
I thought- what a stupid cow, since when 'excited' is an excuse for gettin on people's nerves like this, ffs I'm also excited, I've been having multiple orgasms since Ribbons here, but I don't spoil other people's fun just because of that, do I.
Don't misunderstand me, I realise that it would be boring if everybody stood still, I've nothing against people having fun and showing it, it's lovely when people dance and mosh and go crazy, it's lovely when Andrew tells the security to stop forbidding the standing on shoulders, and it's lovely when chicks go crazy for him, and so on... but distorting my view is just absolutely not acceptable, full stop, rant over.
It was great nevertheless.

That was really a storming gig,
and inside the venue hot as hell - my clothes from yesterday are still wet ...
...
very pleased to see all this develop and in ever more precision ... wow ...
...
...
and to feel there is still leeway for varied specifications and fortifications
takes my breathe already by the mere imagination ... *hell, suffer, faint ...
..
I couldn't possibly tell what song got over to me best. I know there was once again an outstanding version of ...
no, hell, all the songs had that exciting touch of where ways ... undescribable ... and oh yeah, please, more, please ... more! ...
also more of that joking ...
...

It was F***ING KILLER.
Some thoughts, not so much a review as dazed fan ravings.
- Von's voice was fantastic, and Ben and Chris were kicking as always. Both guitarists seemed to be dealing with some technical problems, but handled it well.
- Vision Thing and the other songs from that album particularly rocked, and they play Anaconda so well these days.
- Summer!
- Flood II with distortion. Industrial cyborg monster, even if I'm not sure whether it was an accident due to some technical issues they seemed to have throughout the show.
- Temple was the perfect ending to the night. Storming rendition.

Hey.
It was so nice to meet a few of you - iesus, Camy, _emma_ (though briefly).
