Nice pics.
@ Debaser :
Dry Dock in about 50 mins for me. I think I'm gonna be sensible and watch from the back tonight.

Those are some great pics everyone! I will upload mine and post some of them, but i dont think they will be any good, just taken on my phone.
was great to meet some of you last night, had a great laugh!
thanks everyone for making me so welcome!
in terms of the gig, i must agree with the general point and say it was fantastic! really enjoyed it after hearing from a few places that the more recent gigs have not been up to scratch.
and the cupcakes were delicious!

loving all the pix! Funny being able to put faces to names from the gig - even though haven't made it for a pre-gig pint either night...
Can't wait for tonight - although, having dragged mymy ass all over Leeds looking for a Utd Jersey (finally found one by accident in HMV!) I could happily crash out for a few hours... Oh the horrible combination of alack of foresight when booking hotels & dodgy early morning flight times to dublin!
But if it even comes close to last night - it's more than worth it!

lol. It did happen - We walked past them walking up the road. I suspect they may have been drinking.....Debaser wrote:Naturally, I doubt ANYONE saw 12 6ft Smurfs after the gig??? Just Gaz and me then

I hear her cry all day, all night
I hear her voice from deep within the wall
Made a cross from knitting needles
Made a grave from hoover bags
Especially for the woman in the wall

Thats it!! Has been bugging me where I knew it from. I got rid of my Anthrax records around the time that Metallica got crap (94?), as it led to a general reappraisal of thrash musiclex3000 wrote:"Pipeline" is an old surf rock song by The Chantays and Anthrax covered it on "Attack Of The Killer B's". It was a nice surprise.
Anyway, a solid gig and lots of fun. I've got no regrets giving up my ticket for the Arsenal vs Barcelona game last night for it.
I also noticed that Andrew's vocals seemed to drop in volume as the show went on, but thought it was a pretty fine effort by all involved. We watched the whole show from the balcony having secured a good spot there (girlfriend is only 5ft 2 - still taller than Andrew though!) & it was the best all round sounding gig I've seen them do.
Was generally horrified by Space Ritual, who I had been looking foward to, but did enjoy the dancing girl in the audience who was totally immersed in it - fair play.
The after show was great as well. I think the occasion would have been unforgettable if there'd been a couple of old faces up on stage, but all in all, I think all concerned made it a blinding night
I did on the way to get my car from up by the uni !!Debaser wrote:Naturally, I doubt ANYONE saw 12 6ft Smurfs after the gig??? Just Gaz and me then

Wow, last night what a show - 10/10.
1st time i have seen the sisters and I was not disappointed.
Sound and vocals seemed to be fine, cupcakes however were a little tasteless..
Nice pit going on down the front for a bit of a dance tho !!
Heres my video of the opening number lucretia from the 16/02/11 show -

(sorry about the crappy sound on the vid)
Saw lots of you guys in the Hawaiian shirts in the dry dock and in the gig, I also recognised some fellow NMA fans in the pit...
(FYI I was sporting clogs, NMA t-shirt and leather waistcoat with leatherface from the chainsaw massacre airbrushed on the back)
All good stuff.

'nuther lurker ... we were there last night after getting put on the guest list by a pal at work, having only found out about it the day before! First time since 'Smoke & Mirrors' at Blank Canvas (was that 2003?), 'Off the Street' previous to that. I was not disappointed
I saw the blue bermuda shirt (timsinister?) but was stopped short of making an introduction by some cake throwing I was the chap in the black suit with the snakeskin shirt, blonde lass with me. We spent the gig up on the far side of the balcony.
I definitely need to get out on manoevres more often ... definitely again ... soon.
