taking stock and trying to sort/clean/dry the cd rack that came crashing down last night when the kitchen got flooded and the water came from the ceiling.
But first a cuppa coffee & some HL time, it has been way too long!

Not too sure insurance will cover it, Steve. We'll see... the damage is mostly paper and cd's (digipacks & water don't mix), but the electrical appliances got saved in time. And how can anyone pay back the first Cure cd I ever bought back in the day... My much loved copy of Entreat got very wet. Cd itself looks okay so that will still play I'm sure, and the inlays are laid out to dry the best they can.Pista wrote:Oh cr@p!

Or the drawings my kids made for my birthday... all gone, but can't put a price on that.
All because a drainpipe got obstructed and the water found another way, as it always does. But hey, it could be worse, it could've been the record collection

Out with my wife for a few at our local. We’ve been invaded by young Democratic Party operatives who can neither hold their liquor nor modulate their voices.
I loathe them, because they are ruining this place. I hope to god they don’t live in this neighborhood.

Backing up the photo drive on the every 6 months or so replace/add a drive. Smoking loads of cigarettes as ever and demolishing the output of a medium sized coffee plantation or two.

thank you Charlie we saved him from the shed he was born in, totally wild @ 10 weeks with no human contact before us which was quite sad. first evening he didn't eat or drink, i removed 2 ticks from him as soon as i could catch him and even slept downstairs so he could get used to me. second day fed via straw with cat's milk & even ate. now sleeps on us and all going very well.
Steve ~ thank you honey! *Dusky* looks better now
