Aye, but how many of us pose like we're rock gods and try to live a groupie-groping lifestyle while looking like overworked grandmothers? Wayne Hussy is not Aging With Dignity.

...and I'm sure he also doesn't give a rat's arse what you think about him, or how he's aging, or what he's doing at his "advanced" age, either, Pete. :von:

I know *I* certainly don't.

Releasing albums/singles, touring places other than dodgy German metal festivals and doing a run of 4 shows next year, which look quite good (if you like that sort of thing!!).
Still can't understand why everyone gets so excited by Hussey. At least he doesn't look like a half dead Rob Halford like Von does.

Give the guy a break. If you dislike him so much, why continue to talk about him? Surely there's something else you could be doing, like knitting maybe?

Who cares? Not I. Only to say he's certainly not active when it comes to taking care of whatever appearance he had. He ought to have laid off the sauce and illicit substances some time ago.

I laughed out loud when I read on their forum some months back boasting his ability to pull attractive sex partners, evidently same old Wayne thinking like so many of his kind that anyone would want to f*ck or do stuff them despite how they look :urff:

Doing four shows next year (jan-feb time) based around four different albums...

I'm going to sit on my hands to avoid getting First Chapter tickets

Erm... The Rolling Stones come to mind, here... :innocent: *Shudder* :urff:

If they can still do it, why not ol' Wayne? He's not nearly as leathery as that bunch.

The guy needs to prove something all the time...ability to have
attractive partners in bed...remarks about the Girls at a lot of gigs...

Just an insecure and foolish man who acts like a stupid clown.
I wouldn't go and watch a gig for free...

There are a lot more of those types who *aren't* in the spotlight, though... What's the difference? *Shrug* :von:

I hadn't quite made my mind up about Wayne here until I read he wrote the music to Marian. :notworthy: If he really did that, he has my respect.

Yea why not Wayne. I don't really doubt he can still do it, that's what starf*ckers are for = people who would even f*ck a pile of garbage if it was famous, semifamous, or once famous. Not just anybody would want to though :innocent:

Vicus posted the [uel=https://www.loudersound.com/features/si ... 1VFPXtoy1k]this[/url] link to an interview with Wayne.
Q: There is wild speculation in the book that JK Rowling based Harry Potter on you.

Wayne: When JK Rowling became famous, it became known that she went to the same Junior School as me. She was the most famous ex-pupil; I am on the list as well. Our Headmaster was supposedly the inspiration for Albus Dumbledore. I’ve got my own stories about Mr Dunn. He caned me when I was about 5 years old.

When I started wearing glasses it was the time when she would have been in the school – she’s 3 or 4 years younger than me. Getting glasses was a huge traumatic experience for me. These days, kids don’t think twice about it; my niece goes to school with frames with no glass in. Back then I was the only kid in school I can remember having to wear glasses. So it did cross my mind: I wonder where the visual inspiration for this character came from? It would be nice to know; put that theory to bed. I knew nothing about the Harry Potter books, but I thought I’ll put two and two together and make another number.

Anyway, I heard JK Rowling liked Goth music when she was younger.
…so This Corrosion is about Harry Potter, the bloke who wrote the riff to Marian? Image
 Where are my pills?

Where are they now? He was in Baltimore couple of days ago with his friend Craig and some other guys. ;)

Solid show for sure, some of the stuff that wasn't all that popular has aged very well, like Afterglow and Naked and Savage (glad that they were included in the set). His voice is good, and I have always enjoyed listening to his 12-string guitar. He does some cool stuff with it on Never Again to replace some of the sounds that I thought were created by synthesizers on studio recordings. Craig's bass filled up the room nicely. It was a fun evening.
