Well, this show seems to be another opinion divider. I didn't expect much from the Stockholm gig - a rushed weekend visit to somewhere even colder than Scotland, turning up early and still finding quite a few people already in the queue, the bootleggers patrolling the queue trying to peddle their crap... But then the gig started!!! And despite my reservations about the sound, I left that basketball hall with a big smile on my face that's been there ever since :D

A quite positive review of the gig.. in swedish:

- but if you read the comments for the review I would say it says more about how the gig felt for the general public.

And here's a review from the Swedish "Daily News", run through Google translate.

And if you wonder what "ölmage" means, it's beer belly.

The sound was under all critique and it would have been nice to actually hear Andrew sing.
Where I was standing at the front, he could be heard very loud and clear and the voice itself was much better than it's been since a long time ago. :? And this is not a personal opinion of the mad _emma_ who's always in love despite the circumstances, it's a fact.

I don't really want to comment too much, but this gig = a reminder of what pisses me off sometimes when following The Sisters (for reasons already described by others in this thread).
The gig in Helsinki last night was really good though, and certainly made up for it! 8)

If you could hear him sing emma, good for you.

emma or _emma_, that is the question, boss ;-)

i've been waiting almost 20 years to see them so it was a hallelujah-moment all night long. Especially from Dominion who took the energy up to max. Sound started really bad but we moved slowly to the center of the hall so it got better and better. :-)

Me and my friend went to fryshuset really early, around 12.
And when we walked in to the café we heard some music, and
when we realized they was soundchecking marian we
freaked out, mostly because the door in to the Arena was open!
So we sneaked in and at first we only saw
Ben but after a while mr. E also went up on stage, without
his precious glasses.
I can say we felt veeery satisfied afterwards. ;D

Thanks.
And I must say that the way Andrew soundchecked
was the funniest ever. First he sang Maaaariaaan and
then started screaming chackachackachacka.
And if that wasn't
enough he sang a little string of words
in the middle of marian sounding:
Is it monday no its tuesday, is it wednsday no its thursday etc
He was a bit cute i think...
