If you bin all closed threads won't that help?

Just a question?
Debs, Calm down. I get to my spring cleaning as often as I can. That is definitely on the list of tasks. At the moment, I am unpacking boxes from the recent move more than I am logging on.

To keep you happy, though, I will pluck out a few for you (this one, perhaps). ;D Now, start recycling some birthday threads. :innocent:
Pets, I'm as calm as the ocean on a windless day. I know you do your spring cleaning. Oh so that's what you've been up to! Congrats on moving house! Oh that's so sweet of you honey, that one can go straight to the bin. ;D You mean you should start recycling some birthday threads. Anything older than five years we don't need anymore surely?

Well done with binning Pets! :notworthy:

I'll look for it a bit later, as the search function on here is in a world of it's own. And I'll also link other locked threads that can be binned if you want?

Or Mark and Steve can help!

But surely all you'd have to do is hit the edit button and delete it and replace it with 'whoops'

There's a limit on how many mistakes we can make?

You can edit or delete your posts only on the day you've posted them.

Part of the reason there's a limit on the time-span for edits is that we (Mod staff) were getting fed up with certain people going back and editing their posts days, weeks, or even more after they were made. It can make for very disjointed reading.

I don't think you really need to worry about removing any of your posts Being, but as this was obviously causing you some distress, I've removed the post you've asked to be removed.

Yes, I've read that somewhere ... and in general, it's surely the best solution this way ...
but I'm glad, that it is possible to have removed certain posts, if necessary ...

Thanks ... :) , I will surely not make a habit of it ... really felt quite bad about that one ... :urff: :  ...

and I really hope it was only a weird, sad nightmare ...

Please with Being out the picture for just this post.

Steve and Mark I did cleaning up for you MODS.

Forward it to the crew MODS and ADMIN...if you are not sure if worthy.

I think yes and bin that crap.

sorry QB i sent cleaning up of threads locked in GC & SC. i don't see why locked threads should lingre, it takes up space on the database of HL.

Also we need to close the tour section of the past year.

A new section for the tour or gig(s) in 2010 needs a new section.

It's Feb already and HL has hit the gutter!

I'm promoting this forum and organizing a meetup out of UK and with references back to home we need to get updated.

Respect to HL, let's get it sorted please.

I'll buy you all a coke.

Hey, calm down. It's The Sisters Of Mercy discussion forum: having things unfinished, half-finished, finished but never updated, finished but never added to archives, planned but never done, planned and started but never finished etc., should be considered in good taste and very on-topic. :)

Again correction. We don't have to follow the ways of our leader :von:
_emma_ I'm as calm as the ocean on a windless day. It's just tacky in my eyes, remember years ago, when things on HL were archived and closed and done with within the first few weeks of the new year. Obviously no one is up for it this year. Maybe it's just my motherly instinct to spring clean things.
