What was Eldritch's biggest mistake ?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

The Sisters went wrong, from the precise moment on 22nd December 1993 that Von walked off stage, considered his options, and went "f**k IT" to releasing any new records. No matter how much and how well they play live since then it's all gone in hazy memories the next morning - which is no way to be remembered.

You nailed it mate! It was the last time I saw them and felt that I have witness a concert with THE SISTERS OF MERCY. Since then, as you said, hazy memories the next morning from witnessing Andrew and some blokes (still calling themself The Sisters Of Mercy) playing the same old songs over and over and over.
Something happened after this december.

Meanwhile, at some poor festival, Doktor Avalanche plays on and on and on.
