Newsworthy continued: EEEEEEEENINp'ts!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Fire at the Glasgow School of Art

Very sad to see such a beautiful building go up in flames.

Given the fire started in the basement, and most of the interior of the building is wooden, I think it's safe to say that the building is f*cked. :( :( :(

First UKIP defector? Councillor Malcolm Pritchard just announced on BBC Radio Lancs he has resigned and gone independent after 50mins as UKIP councillor.

If true, then surely this is a record!

If it continues at this rate then, by my calculations, UKIP will lose all their Councillors by Wednesday evening.

Glad to hear that they have managed to salvage the building and 70% of the contents. CRM has always been my favourite designer and GSA is his masterpiece.

A pizza chain in the northern Russian city of Syktyvkar has begun pizza deliveries by drone. The chopper drones involved were developed by a Russian company who says they can fly at a speed of up to 25 mph
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I read a similar story about pizza delivery in India.
I'll see your pizza drone & raise you pepper spray bullet firing drones

Either of which would be a suitable method of delivery for this gentleman: http://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/ ... -1.1851443

Dublin firm creates plug-in to 'rid internet' of Garth Brooks
Sick of the Garth Brooks concert "debasco" dominating everything you read online? Want to block all things Garth Brooks related from your newsfeed?

Dublin-based digital media firm EightyTwenty has created a solution called "Garth Blocks" in an attempt to give the public some respite.

The company says the Chrome plug-in rids the internet of all references to the American country singer.
