Agreed. Was blown away by the footage on the BBC at the weekend of their Reading set. Can't believe just two of them can kick up such a great racket.

Tent was rammed @ Leeds. We went in an hour early to bag our spot. Third time live this year.

I finally got around to replacing my old, broken record player with a new one, and have spent the morning going through old records, like the above. Rock and roll. I saw them live at some point.

Are you new to him? He gets better and better with every record, and has a new one out this fall.

Not entirely new, but I never dig that much. Great lyrics, so easy to find A.E. inspiration. And yes, song from upcoming album - "Almost like the blues" - has opened that can.

BOWIE - ALADDIN SANE (30th Anniversary Edition)
Which leaves one a tad miffed. There are a few live tracks from Boston Oct 72 which are wonderful and instead of releasing "Santa Monica" which was already semi-legitimately out on the Mainman label they could have put out all of this gig.

Listened yesterday L. Cohen's "Dear Heather" - on music level I wasn't pleased, but I didn't focuse on lyrics.
