We are in the Ibis budget for Manchester. How bad is it? We had a double Superior in Leeds and it was ridiculous, the bed was HUGE and Fraulein ribbons and myself even got bath robes. Uber posh.

i notice there appears to be a persistent spikey head in the videos. it is only now i realise that the owner must be rather tall. im 6 ft in my newrocks and and i recall occasionally staring into his collar. anyway on to the next set of gigs.. 3 nights at the forum in london town next week to see mr numan

Great vids, thanks Nigel (and all the others!) for uploading it all. 1959 is sublime, or will be when they get it right
Just getting the hang of it indeed. But yeah superb footage, vocals generally sound as er haphazard as I remember them, but sonically they're on it. And when Von's vocals did hit they were on it too. Here's hoping for a crispy bootleg recording to surface somewhere in the ether...

Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed that review. Don't agree about Von's voice on the 83-85 bootlegs, though - by that stage his vocal performance was extraordinary IMO.
