Interesting that musical elements of Far Parade have morphed into Show Me and Black Sail.

My notebook crashed again yesterday evening ... ... and I got it working again by the morning ... ... but it made me miss this.

Watching now, however ... :) ... Oh, he did a cover of Absolute Beginners ... what a pleasure! ... :D ... such a great tune and wonderful lyrics ...

I've always loved that sort of Bowie songs. Hell, can't tell for how long I didn't hear it ... so thanks for this! ... ;D :notworthy: ...

EDIT:
Some note from the later communications ...

Well that was me asking

Some minutes before that he said that there were bad news for the Sis and suddenly he changed subject and after that he remembered a story and then played a song without mention what was about ;D

Well also asked him if it was his idea and proposal of Bowie's "John i'm only dancing" cover back in XXX tour and he answered yes :notworthy:

This is a bit out of context. A question was asked by someone in such a way that made it sound like Chris was currently playing with them, so "I've got some bad news for you" was a reference to that.

Evidently as the question came from this group, that's not what said question meant, but that's how it sounded read aloud and shorn of context.

In other words: it wasn't meant in any derogatory fashion!

I think you have to also add a huge and heavily accented dose of healthy northern self-deprecation to Chris' answer as well.

No. It wasn't meant in any derogatory way at all, just Northern humour... ...

I thought that was clear... :? ... Sorry if that should have been misleading.

Chris also said in the next sentence: "He's good." ... :) ...

Ha ha! Got it. That's the thing with t'Internet, you can't hear context in the written word. :)
