Viagra Boys next week (can't wait) and then off to Florida for three days in which I'll spend an hour or so talking about Nietzsche and the rest of the time drinking drinks with little umbrellas in them. A nice change from the mid-Atlantic in February.

31st August - A Flock of Seagulls - Brudenell Social Club

And I forgot to mention I went to Chris Catalyst's birthday thing at Brudenell last week where a good time was had by all.

Carpe noctum in leeds last sat was terrific , 3 cracking sets by Black riders cult and Deathtrippers but the standout was Cold in Berlin who put on the best show I've seen in ages with a with a heavy doomy sound and brilliant singer . A cracking night and worth the trip up with the only downside being the sheer number of pissed up idiots around the area .

i'm off to that London for my 53rd Birthday to see The Sisters Od Mercy.
