What a fantastic evening!
Had no idea what to expect - at times I wasn't sure if we were in Royston Vasey or Mu Mu Land but it was all brilliant!

Lovely to meet up with friends old and new and hear so many old Sisters classics.
Loved the Body Electric / Roxy Music Virginia Plain mash up!

Top night out!

It was the kind of evening where you meet up with old friends and are reminded about Motorhead gigs you attended and had completely forgotten about. Old friends recent friends and a heart-warmingly charming lovely bloke in an elephant mask telling stories and knocking out Sisters classics. Magnificent night, cheers to you all. If Mr Marx decides to do any more of these shows I can't recommend it enough.

Loving the videos that have appeared online.

Listening to Gary play Burn, Damage Done etc makes you realise that beyond the swagger and style etc of the early records, they're really good songs.

Like, they hold up to rearrangement and being played by a dude with a guitar and a loop pedal. Super stuff.

I think sometimes that the modern incarnation of the Sisters hasn't leaned into these songs in quite the way they could have. I get it . . . Mr Eldritch isn't interested in nostalgia etc and would prefer to move onwards. And I'm down with that. But . . . Gary did something cool here. Love it.

That is pretty forking marvellous.

Gary told me later that evening that he'd had a whole thing ready to say after playing Heartland - about the forum and our community, but he was so emotional he totally got carried away by it all and, well, he forgot

I didn't mind though - I was already almost in tears anyway. That would probably have been a bit too much.

If I had an account I'd be keeping it simple with 'Scary Monsters'. Thankfully I don't so won't be troubling Gary with that.

Gutted to have missed this. especially after buying a ticket, but sometimes the rest of your life gets in the way of having fun. Glad everyone who went enjoyed it and thanks for the videos Anders.

I had a ticket but work sent me to Arabia, nice to hear the theme from Lawrence of Arabia at the end of Burn.
