There seems to be a pattern emerging. The Sisters looked perfectly normal until Chris and his Sideburns joined, and suddenly there's a renaissance in crazy hair developments!Black Alice wrote:The new bass player looks surprisingly normal

Next week, there's a possiblity I could 'bump' into Tom Hanks or Audrey Tatou...but that would entail leaving the house

I saw him in The Lounge a few weeks ago. I found it incredibly difficult not to go up to him and shout "I bladdy love it!"

Yep. It literally just shut up one day - I'd say about three months or more ago, citing larger multiplex competition etc. Shame. Cottage Road was saved literally at the last minute from closing by some entrepreneur who wants to keep the smaller cinemas open.markfiend wrote: has it?

Ohhhhhhhhhh! No I didn't mean The Lounge cinema, I meant the bar/restaurant "The Lounge" on Merrion Street.

Now if you post later saying you've met that nun who's protesting against Tom Hanks / Da Vinci Code premise / not being able to get at the mulled wine during the Xmas Market, then I will be impressedDebaser wrote:Next week, there's a possiblity I could 'bump' into Tom Hanks or Audrey Tatou...but that would entail leaving the house

Only on t'telly. I note however that the bods who run the Cathedral itself were quite happy to take a £100K "donation" for filming rights Meeja hoo-ersDebaser wrote:Ahhhhhhhhhh, you've seen her.

Donation towards the 'Fabric Fund'....I've got loads of old material they could haveMrs. Snowey wrote:Only on t'telly. I note however that the bods who run the Cathedral itself were quite happy to take a £100K "donation" for filming rights Meeja hoo-ersDebaser wrote:Ahhhhhhhhhh, you've seen her.
They have to get money from somewhere - ever since the debacle of the missing 'MagnaCarta on Tour' money.

A couple of days ago I met Arvo Pärt in a supermarket. He has a list of the things which he had to buy. I was wondering what could he feel hearing such an awful muzak they played all over the shopping centre - it was someting like Celine Dion, Michael Bolton or any other similar kind of nightmare.
So for me 2005 is the year when I have met (in no particular order):
1) Andrew Eldritch
2) James Ray
3) Arvo Pärt
4) the worst side of myself (also seen as my avatar).

Can Andrew Eldritch and James Ray be considered "famous" nowadays?
