The last lot of band photos we took were all on film. Black-and-white grainy photos don't have to be done in Paint/Photo Shop.
Shame they were overexposed and turned out solid black... actually, maybe those would have made better band photos..

So since when have you developed this little interest in photography, Steven?
(This is not meant to sound sarky as it looks typed, I'm genuinely f**king interested... those photos are goooooooood :notworthy: 8) )

Holiday days without much to do mean I started looking through my hard drive and decided to put some more old photos online :D

Also messed about a bit with Gimp to make things B&W or just fcuk up colours by dragging about the colo(u)r curve thingy in there until I liked it a lot :D

Not much change of subject though, I fear, perhaps other thingies later

Not really an aesthetically marvellous pic, but hey... taken in Florence's Duomo (I think)... standing on a grate. It's a long way down

Thanks!

Hmm, I think I've always had a "photographer's eye" (by which I mean, I'm always looking at things and thinking "oooh that would make a good photo") - but I've never really had the equipment or the inclination to follow it through.

It's really only in the last year that I got a (cheap but relatively decent) digital camera, and more recently a camera phone (that the picture above, and the one on page 6 were taken with).

I've discovered I really like lines, and angles, and perspective, and occasionally curves. And nature. So probably more of those to follow as this topic rolls on...

I read the above text and then scrolled down to the pic.....and had a "whoooooaaa!" moment. You can indeed sense the height!

Please explain? It's just what I use for editing and am completely unaware what else it might be, though I sense it won't be much good

Oh, and thanks :D
