To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.
thank you all:) now help me make a decision. do I wanna move to the netherlands or not?
okay back to football. I managed to watch the second part of the czech vs turkey match and well, the czech were just not making it happen. why was Milan Baros sitting anyhow? I didn't see any of the portugal vs swiss but I was glad to see them score sicne they are out nayhow.
and now turned the tv on what to watch what to watch? well I want austria just score some againts germany. that would be my request for the night

Because their coach is not brave enough to make the right moves.sziamiau wrote:

I made the same request but I guess Austria is the weakest team by far. Very, very boring game.
Can't imagine the Germans are gonna beat Portugal but you never know.
Looking forward to see Croatia play against the Turkish.

@ Marco: I told you we would try our best! Even if it means NINE substitutes!
@ Romania: Be ashamed as you did not even try to win.....

I think the Dutch play very entertaining, and would be happy if they can win by holding on to that type of play. Even the Swedes at home are convinced they would be defeated by the Dutch in the quarter final - which usually is very good for the Swedish team who loves to be the underdog
On the other hand...I think the most likely scenario is that especially Italy, and to some extent Germany, continue like the almost always do, first pretending to be mediocre teams that any team -can- beat, and then slowly grow to play world-class football by the end of the tour. So I think both Iberian teams are going home very soon. This is not necessarily what I hope...
The joker in the Euro 2008 is for me Croatia, and I wouldn't be very surprised if they manage to go all the way. A quite underrated team, in my opinion.
