We don't have all the facts yet, but this is beginning to sound like a stupendously stupid thing for Israel to have done. It shall to be interesting to see how Obama responds.

Especially following the recent passports debacle, and even more especially in international waters.

Russian, Chinese and European astronauts are simulating the effects of a 520 day trip to Mars by locking themselves in a windowless cage for the duration.

Frenchman Romain Charles said he was taking a guitar so he could entertain the other team members.

He sent a text message to the managing director claiming an unwell relative meant he would not be coming in to work and started disposing of the oil futures.
That's the stock market equivalent of "the dog ate my homework"

Wasn't there some talk a while ago about Eastenders having an episode featuring purely minority characters? EastEnders with it's mainly white English cast isn't exactly realistic.

'Bitter' priest blows $1.3m of church funds

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/07/09/bitter_priest/

A "bitter" Connecticut priest blew $1.3m of his church's funds on "swanky hotels and male escorts", CNN reports.

Father Kevin Gray, 64, is no longer a pastor at the Sacred Heart Church in Waterbury, having allegedly indulged in a spectacular, seven-year spending spree during which he splashed out on "fancy restaurants, clothing, vacations, hotels, a New York City apartment and a male companion's tuition at Harvard University".

ouch :urff:

Yes... I expected he might top himself when the manhunt came to an end, I did not expect Gazza to turn up! The apparent news blackout on that small detail this morning (unless you check out The Sun website which of course I wouldn't dream of doing  ) has only added to this strange sense I have that it was all a rather bizarre dream I had :urff: "And so Paul Gascoigne was there with a fishing rod and some chicken, and then Tony Blair walks in dressed as an aubergine"...
