Glad you say it wasn't, because I was thinking maybe they did it on the previous gigs too, just I was too stupid to notice.
Also, Andrew seems like he is in rock star mode <333 ...
I wanna see them again, sob, I can't believe I can't go to Berlin

well they did it allright, but it was a bit of a mess
i'm not doing Berlin either, nor Vienna for that matter
i
am going to Esch-Sur-Alzette though. yay! i would have done the Paris gig too if I hadn't spent so much in Leeds and Brussels (mostly on crap that i'm never going to use/wear
). plus, the train tickets are going to cost an arm and a leg because it's such short notice. so unless i find a way of teleporting myself to Paris and back it's not going to happen

Ah, but you're going to Luxembourg!
With me it was more the case that, apparently, when I made plans, I was beside myself for a moment, and thought I should act like a mature + show some self restraint
... Dang.
I wold be surprised if Berlin was any good anyway*, cause German audiences are so stiff, and I can't see the band freaking out when everyone's looking at them with raised eyebrows and arms crossed.
* the fox and the Grapes...

yeah, that's what i keep telling myself. not that it's helping though
re: self restraint - never worked, never will. i just get ripped off by hotels and transport companies because i end up having to arrange things at the last minute

And if they do not play ON THE WIRE you will be very very unhappy - right ?
You have my support - because they played it in Budapest

they're staying after gigs instead going to their homes or hotels. (not that i'm not doing that, but at least i know that after 3 minutes of clapping hands and whistling you'll always beg out extra songs)

chris does have a habit of throwing his picks out to the audience at he end of the set
wasn't aware andrew had a habit of handing out hugs though

After the show my girlfriend and me could catch him at the back stage door. He was so friendly, we had a nice chat. When the others noticed Andrew they wanted to came to him, but the stuff didn't allow it. So, that night we were the big winners!
When we said thank you for the show he gave us a big hug and said 'thank you, for thank you'
