She decided not to come to work after receiving my email this morning.

Not exactly pissed of by, but helplessly standing on the sideline and watching...
My mother in law is diagnosed with lung cancer and where they gave here a couple of months at first,it is now down to weeks.

Doctors are baffled at how fast it goes, second and third opinions were had.

She decided to donate her body to the doctors if the end is there, so they can help others in the future. My pragmatic mom in law.... f**k.

Woke up this morning to discover that, thanks to a broken pipe upstairs, my flat has been redesignated as a swimming pool. Rugs soaked, the whole bathroom is going to have to be gutted. Very very pissed off right now.

yesterday i was lucky enough to be in the bathroom when a leak from my cistern/overflow valve/overflow pipe started! as an antisocial sort i was so f**king stressed at the amount of preparation required for a visit from a tradesman that i necked a big lump of whizz and fixed the c**t myself! **proud**

Well this is bloody annoying - 14 months into a job I truly love, with a company full of people I really enjoy working with, and they've just laid off 20% of us - me included.

At the risk of sounding optimistic and loosing my goth card, forever, at least the job market in the US is really good.
